LAS VEGAS (December 19, 2018)– The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority Board has named Atlanta-based architecture firm, tvsdesign, designer on the $540 million Phase Three renovation of the Las Vegas Convention Center’s (LVCC) entire 3.2 million-square-feet existing campus.
tvsdesign, in association with Design Las Vegas, won a 2017 design competition for the new 1.4 million-square-foot Phase Two expansion currently under construction.
“Providing a world-class experience across the entire LVCC property is critical to us, and being trusted to lead the charge on the Phase Three renovation will ensure that,” says tvsdesign Principal, Rob Svedberg. “Guests expect nothing short of spectacular when they visit Las Vegas, and we’re honored for the continued opportunity to help solidify its place as the number one trade show destination in the country.”
The phased approach guarantees no business displacement during construction and renovation, and that people attending LVCC events will have a consistent experience between the old and new buildings.

Phase Three’s projected completion date is 2023, while Phase Two is on track for completion in time for CES 2021. Combined, both phases of the project will generate an additional $2.1 billion in economic activity during construction.
Upon completion, LVCC will have an estimated yearly incremental economic impact of $810 million while attracting more than 600,000 additional visitors annually.
