TVS was brought on as the lead for full programming and campus master planning for the nearly 50-year-old K12 independent day school. The project included 125,200 sf of new construction and a 22,800 sf renovation, with major expansions for the lower and middle schools, and the addition of a new Christian Life Center. Further enhancements involved an expanded preschool, cafeteria renovation, improved athletic training facilities, a campus store, and overall campus circulation and greenspace improvements.
The first implementation of the master plan was the design and construction of the Murray Innovation Center designed by TVS, marked the completion of Mount Paran Christian Schools existing master plan. TVS was hired by the school to undertake an update to the campus master plan which could guide future development for the next 10-15 years.
Through school surveys and focus groups, town hall meetings, campus observations, utilization study, and full programming and master planning services, the TVS team developed an updated master plan and conceptual designs for future buildings which included renovations to the existing dining hall, expansion of the Lower School, expansion of the early childhood education building, new gymnasium entry, school store, athletic field and support building improvements, and a Christian Life Center with a competition gymnasium, weight and locker rooms, and meeting facilities.
