A relaxed spa-like experience that attracts upscale shoppers and tenants alike

Plaza Vespucio Aires represents a major expansion and face lift to this Santiago shopping mall. As the focal point of the interior, TVS has created a lush garden court capped by a bold glass roof structure. The project vision is to attract a new upscale tenant and clientele mix by the creation of a large day lit winter garden designed to provide customers a relaxing ‘spa like’ shopping environment. Floating café living rooms and specialty retail are woven together with sculptural landscape including a cascading stream. Sweeping roof lines and curvilinear forms bring a new modern image to the mall’s exterior. This, along with the addition of a new covered walkway, help to unify the building and offers an enhanced pedestrian experience.
