The Fulton County Behavioral Health Crisis Center is the first publicly-funded facility of its kind in the local community. TVS worked closely with Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Fulton County Department of Real Estate and Asset Management, Grady Hospital, Hogan Construction, as well as various design consultants from early stages of design to ensure the facility was designed to meet all behavioral health guidelines required for the safety of all patients and its staff. TVS also aided in providing a safety risk assessment diagram of the facility to assist in providing a safety risk assessment written documentation of the complete assessment to not only proactively identify hazards and risks but also to provide solutions to these potential risks. TVS further used this safety risk assessment and diagram to ensure each of the various risk levels were designed appropriately to meet all design, architectural, and MEP requirements throughout the facility. The project is open 24 hours, seven days a week with 24-beds and 16-chairs serving adults throughout the community. The support spaces throughout the facility includes waiting rooms/reception, client and staff restrooms, nurse stations and clinical support spaces, therapy rooms, seclusion rooms, staff break room and other staff supporting areas, storage, and MEP infrastructure.
