Tim Gregg Joins Healthcare Team at tvsdesign

2073_N6_mediumtvsdesign welcomes Tim Gregg, AIA to tvsdesign’s Chicago practice, where he will cultivate relationships and lead projects in the region as Director of Healthcare – Planning alongside Trish Adelman, Director of Healthcare – Interiors, and Doug Finck, Director of Healthcare – Architecture, as tvsdesign diversifies its healthcare offerings in the Chicago area and the industry at large.

“As our work in the healthcare field expands, we made a choice to grow our team very deliberately,” said Marc Adelman, Principal at tvsdesign Chicago. “Bringing in Tim’s talent and experience in master planning is just the start of that strategy.”

In his 28 years as an architect, Tim has been focused primarily on the healthcare industry, specifically in master planning, programming and healthcare technologies. Tim most recently was the Principal-in-Charge for the Saint Alexius Medical Center Campus Master Plan and Modernization Program, University of Chicago Medical Center Comer Children’s Center for Specialty Care Clinics, OSF Rock Cut Crossing Ambulatory Care Center, Northwestern Operating Room Modernization and Video Integration, Northwestern Digestive Health Center and Loyola Ambulatory Care at Burr Ridge.

For Tim, the most rewarding part of designing healthcare spaces is seeing something come to fruition and the joy it brings to clients. “The greatest part of my job is listening to our clients, hearing our clients, working with them to get the best possible solution and then seeing the joy in their eyes as it comes to life.  We as architects and designers take for granted that we can visualize the future in thin air; many of our clients cannot imagine the experience until they are walking through the finished product.  Seeing them notice a detail that you have envisioned for years is uplifting every time it happens.”

Tim attended and received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, Illinois and is currently an active member of the AIA and ACHA.
