Arthur Blank, in conjunction with World Congress Center Officials, planned to revitalize the Falcons franchise with a $300 million dollar investment in a two year renovation of The Georgia Dome. Renovations included an overhaul of the club level, creation of eight new “super-suites,” repainting of the exterior, renovation of the upper and lower level concourses and the 71,250 new replacement seats.
The concept of the renovation was to immerse fans into the Falcons experience by using similar Falcons' colors and by incorporating football themed graphics and signage. Our team cut down on visual clutter by unifying the graphics into a continuous signage band shown on new flat screen televisions to activate the space. New continuous pendant lights were installed to emphasize the concentric geometry of the building.
