tvsdesign was invited to participate in a design competition in Beijing, China, for the city’s preparation for the 2008 Olympics. The 142 acre master plan for the International Automobile Expo Center includes a museum, brand exhibition center, automobile sales center and other supporting facilities.
The museum will be designed as a landmark building to house an exhibit history of the automobile, both national and global. The sales center’s primary uses will be for the sale and maintenance of automobiles as well as other related services. The supporting facilities will provide services to on-site companies while the Center for Information Exchange will house both a conference center and hotel.
The entire facility will serve four major functions: automobile exhibition, information exchange, brand promotion and education and entertainment.
