Culture of Curiosity

We are, from our interns up to our lead principals, a group that reads, travels, and is deeply engaged with and curious about the world. This permeates the design creativity of our company, as our team brings their love of ideas and culture to every project. 

Culture of Collaboration

We maintain an open, fast-thinking dialogue, a culture of purpose and resourcefulness, where insightful ideas benefit our client and impact the guest experience. This allows us to work quickly in client workshops and respond to evolving needs throughout a project. 



Culture of Design

We value buildings designed for people, and focus on exciting, enjoyable and memorable spaces. This keeps us focused on the experience and the awe of the guest, from their arrival to departure. We're also design nerds who hold regular design reviews, take field trips to design exhibits at local museums and are actively invested in the local design community through professional organizations. If it's beautiful design, we want to be part of it.

Culture of Service

We never lose sight of the fact that if not for our client, there is no project. We focus relentlessly on realizing our client’s vision, while bringing inspiring and cool ideas to the table, positively challenging every project’s potential. A culture of service not only extends to our clients but also the communities we inhabit. We regularly partner with organizations like the United Way, Ronald McDonald House and the Greater Chicago Food Depository.



Culture of Connectivity

Our team members are motivated to understand the relationships of their work to the world at large. We strive to know how the most efficient and effective project—from sustainable design approaches to simply understanding the construction process—provides value not only for our clients, but the communities in which we work. 

Culture of Ownership

At tvsdesign, coming to work is about so much more than just clocking in 8 hours. Why? Because we own it - literally. As an ESOP company, each tvsdesign employee is also an owner. With that in mind, we organize company events like "field day" or trivia, create videos and host breakfasts to celebrate and educate our employee owners.
